On this beautiful Sunday morning, I would like to extend a very Happy Easter to you and your family from me and mine. We are preparing a yummy breakfast with our favorite, Gabriel's Eggs (a family recipe), and Resurrection Rolls; and a delicious dinner with ham, mashed potatoes, corn, strawberry fluff salad, lettuce salad, and pecan pie. Over the years, my holidays have changed. When y kids were little we would do Easter egg hunts and everyone would have their own baskets. As they have grown we have changed that into what we do today. Now, we make a family basket. This basket includes things like board games, snacks to share and a small item for each kiddo. The kids loved getting up this morning to see what was laid out for them. Even Maverick, our chocolate lab has a present in the Easter basket, too. How do you all celebrate?
